Dat HBO’s The Last of Us een goeie reeks is, daar bestond weinig twijfel over. En nu is de reeks ook meteen bekroond met acht Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
het won een award voor onder meer “Main Title Design”, “Picture Editing”, “Outstanding Guest Actor” en “Outstanding Guest Actress”. Met zijn acht awards was The Last of Us de grote winnaar van de avond. Verder deelden The Bear (FX), Wednesday (Netfix) en The White Lotus (HBO) de tweede plaats met elk drie awards.
Op 15 januari zijn er de “echte” Primetime Emmy Awards, als The Last of Us daar ook maar één beeldje te pakken kan krijgen zal het geschiedenis schrijven. Want dat zou de eerste keer zijn dat een game verfilming een Emmy pakt.
